Title: How I Cured a Hateful Mare
We have an American Standard Bred Mare named Clancy, who to the best of our knowledge is around 14 years old (We have had her for the last 5 years.) She is a beautiful and strong mare, but she has got serious attitude. She is contrary and difficult for me, and even worse for others. She would buck, nip, and flatten her ears just to let us know when she didn’t want to do something; which was often.
The problem has worsened severely when one of the neighborhood girls who had a fond liking for Clancy came over to brush her; which she did many times in the past with no troubles. On this occasion, Clancy bit the girl on the shoulder, which drew blood and really frightened the girl.
Having been around horses all my life, I knew what the appropriate plan of action would be. We would have to get rid of her. With added pressure from my wife, it seemed like there was no other choice. We just can’t have a horse that is out of control, it’s too much of a danger.
I mentioned my dilemma to a farmer friend of mine, who on a regular basis has around 20 - 25 horses. He said before I do anything rash, I try out a horse training course that he has had much luck with in the past. He has had a few troubled horses in the past, and by applying the techniques and methods in the course it cured them of many bad behaviors in just a few minutes each day. I was very skeptical, having been around horses all my life, but the website offered a money back guarantee; so I thought there was nothing to lose. I ordered the course and gave it a try.
I was amazed. Within just a few days of applying the techniques I learned in the course, Clancy had broken quite a few of her bad habits. Months later, she is down right mannerly. This course fixed a problem that I thought could never be fixed – to this day, Clancy is now one of the most mannerly horses I have ever had.
The course I used is found at http://www.horse-training-made-easy.com I can't stress enough how much it helped me personally with Clancy’s problems. It'll probably help you with your horse problems, too.
